A well-known fact that Oracle Exadata is one of the best platforms for consolidating database workloads as it offers a very efficient compression, software aware storage and resource management features. Oracle continues to add new features in 12c R2 which will be very helpful in running mixed workload. In this session I will walk you through some of the key Exadata features which supports consolidation and mix workloads like EHCC, Resource management, smart storage and flash cache along with Oracle multitenant and Oracle in-Memory. Once the stage is set I will give a quick highlights on 12c R2 new features like...
